ELIGUE 1 TOUR LAUNCHED IN NAIROBI

Indexg Esports has today announced the return of the eLigue 1 Tour esports competition to Kenya for the second year. This FIFA23 competition shall see Kenyan gamers compete for a chance to win a trip to Paris, France where they shall fight for a prize pool of 8000 Euros.

The international competition organized by Ligue 1 UberEats, in coordination with EA SPORTS shall be run by IndexG Esports in Kenya as a partnership with Ligue 1 UberEats parent company, Ligue de Football Professionnell  based in Paris, France.

Stylz and Vieira compete on a FIFA23 exhibition match with Ligue 1 Uber Eats teams.

The competition is open to all gamers and football fans residing in Kenya, above the age of 16, who can register for free on IndexG Esports website. All participants below the age of 18 must provide parental consent.

The Kenyan qualifiers shall kick off on February 26, 2023 , with the first round and close on March 11, 2023, with the final. All the games shall be played at the Alliance Francaise, Nairobi.

The global eLigue 1 Tour finals are set for Saturday, May 13, 2023, in the Freaks 4U Gaming studios in Paris. Beyond the competition, the finalists will have the chance to enjoy an unforgettable weekend at the heart of Ligue 1 Uber Eats, attending matches in VIP conditions , backstage tours of the stadiums, visits to different french cities and much more.

The prizes for the Kenyan qualifiers shall be;

  • 1st place - Ksh. 25 000

  • 2nd place - Ksh. 15 000

  • 2nd runner up - Ksh. 10 000

  • 4th place - Ksh. 5000

The prizes for the Global eLigue 1 Tour finals in France are as follows:

  • 1st place - 4500 Euros

  • 2nd place - 1500 Euros

  • 3rd - 4th place - 750 Euros

  • 5th - 10th place - 250 Euros

IndexG Esports shall receive support from the French Embassy in Kenya, Unplug Africa, Vivid Gold, TCL TV and House of 4 as sponsors of the competition.
