ALL SET FOR THE eligue 1 tour

This weekend shall see 586 FIFA23 gamers face off in the highly anticipated #eLigue1Tour tournament. The competition shall see Kenyan gamers compete for a chance to win a fully paid trip to Paris, France where they shall take part in the Global eLigue 1 Tour finals.

Indexg Esports is running the competition in partnership with the French top tier soccer company, Ligue de Football Professionnel who are the rights holders of the global eLigue 1 Tour competition being held in other regions of the world including Senegal and Ivory Coast in Africa.

Revered Kenyan gamers like Elia “Stylz” Onchari, Evander “Viera” Maina and the defending champion Luony “Fox” Teat are among the confirmed participants and they will have to face competition from upcoming teenage sensation trio of Makuer Matur, Abdul “Milto” Razak and Telki Tradeli.

IndexG head of events Shirley Adema promised gamers a quality event, “ We have put in place the best set up to ensure gamers are competing in a conducive environment. We shall be having a total of 16 referees and 16 gaming stations”

C.E.O Ronny Lusigi called on gamers to bring their A game “I just want to urge the gamers to bring their A-game because the levels of competition in the local FIFA esports scene has really gone a notch higher. You have to be at your best.”

The competition shall kick off at 8:00am and run up to 5:00 pm. The gamers who emerge in the top 8 shall proceed to the grand finals to be held on March 11, 2023 at the same venue.
