Indexg and Scope Markets partner for Commonwealth Esports Championship

As the official tournament organizer of Kenya’s Commonwealth Esports Championship qualifiers, IndexG Esports has today penned a deal with global trading giants Scope Markets through their Kenyan outlet.

The deal shall see Scope markets become the title sponsor of the national qualifiers competition that shall be used to select the team of gamers to represent Kenya at the Commonwealth Esports Championships in Birmingham, United Kingdom.

IndexG Esports C.E.O Ronny Lusigi described the move as a perfect fit, “Trading and gaming share quite a lot of similarities. In both you need strategies and in both you need to always be on high alert as the terrain changes very quickly. We couldn’t be more proud of having a partner for gamers than we have in scope markets.”


Scope markets C.E.O on his part said this is a continuation of the company’s agenda of promoting talents, “Scope Markets has the agenda of promoting sports talents and this is a continuation of that. For us, we are very excited because we are now able to reach out to the many Kenyan youth in esports and invite them into the investment space that we play in.”

IndexG Esports has been mandated by the Esports Kenya Federation to run the national qualifiers to select the team as well as to prepare the team for the championships. Kenya shall be taking part in the three titles of eFootball PES, Rocket League and DOTA2.
