Marlone and Bilal to compete at gamrX Nigeria

FC 24 star Marlone and Street Fighter 6 guru Bilal Mohamed have both earned tickets to represent Kenya at the third edition of gamrX Africa championship to be held in Lagos, Nigeria. The two, who shall both be making their debut at the international stage emerged top in their respective qualifiers hosted in the country.

Marlone, upbeat ahead of the challenge.

Marlone is seeking to go one better than Kenya’s last representative, “For FC 24, the bar has been set already by Demon who finished second in last year’s edition. It only means one thing, that I have to match that or better it. I believe I am up to the task.”

On his part, Bilal termed it as a dream come true promising to put up his best performance ever, “I never imagined that this opportunity will come. To represent your nation doing the thing you love is such a surreal experience. I can only say that I will put up my best performance.”

THe tournament shall be held on May 4, 2024 featuring 12 African nations.
