Welcome to the eLigue 1 Tour Kenya ladies exhibition!

The eLigue 1 Tour is back for the fifth season and the fourth time in Kenya!!!! 

The eLigue 1 Tour, in collaboration with EA SPORTS, is Ligue 1 McDonalds international esports competition open to gamers and football fans aged 16 and above. 

The competition is played on PlayStation 5 using on EA Sports FC25.

This year we are adding a ladies exhbition to the mix. Registration form is below

Preliminaries

QUALIFIERS ROUND

DATE: March 8th 2025

TIME: From 02:00 PM.

LOCATION: PARTYON ARACDE, BBS MALL.


Grand Final

DATE: March 28, 2025

TIME: From 3:00 PM

LOCATION: Charter Hall Nairobi

PARTICIPANTS: Top 8 from preliminaries.

TOURNAMENT FORMAT: Semi finals (two legs). Final (best of three)

RULES AND REGULATIONS

UPON REGISTERING FOR THIS TOURNAMENT, YOU CONFIRM THAT YOU’VE READ, AGREED TO, AND ACCEPTED WITH THE RULES DESCRIBED IN THIS DOCUMENT.

PLAYER ELIGIBILITY

One must meet the following eligibility requirements to be considered a “Player”:

  • Players must be at least 16 years old in order to participate. Players under-18 must provide parental consent.

  • Players must register on the tournament registration platform

  • This tournament is played on PlayStation 5 and EA Sports FC25.

  • Registration for the competition will end on 7th March 2025:

TOURNAMENT STRUCTURE

Tournament Operations

  • Players must complete the check-in process between one hour before the tournament start time.

  • Players must check in for and begin playing their match within 10 minutes or they will be considered to have forfeited their match.

Match Settings

  • All games will use kick-off mode with the settings shown:

  • Only Ligue 1 McDonald’s team are to be used

  • Half Length: 6 Minutes

  • Controls: Any

  • Game Speed: Normal

  • Squad Type: 95 Overall

  • In-case of a draw, we go to penalties directly

  • Any other unlisted settings must not be changed and must be kept at their default

MATCH OPERATIONS AND ADDITIONAL RULES

Match-Making

The fixtures for the competition shall be decided by a random matchmaking draw conducted on challonge website. 

The draw shall only be conducted after check-in is complete on the morning of each event.

Communication

឵឵Offical public communication on all matters to do with the competition shall only be made via IndexG Esports official social media handles.

Officiating/Match Issues

  • We shall have official referees on site during the competition date.

  • All complaints must be addressed to the referee in the case of any issue.

  • If your opponent is breaking a rule set above, you must immediately inform the referee.

  • It is the referee’s responsibility to verify that the game settings are correct.

  • If a game is played beyond the 1st half with incorrect settings before an admin is contacted then the game score will stand.

  • If a player is found breaking the rules above that the admins deem warrant a game loss, then the opponent will be given a 3-0 win for that game unless they already had more than a 3 goal difference at the time of reporting the issue.

  • Only referees can report the scores.

  • In-case of a technical error on the console or loss of electricity during a match, the following rules shall be applied:

  • For matches still in the 1st half, a fresh restart shall be allowed.

  • For matches in the second half, only one half shall be replayed, with the scores being as they were before the technical problem.

  • If during a penalty shoot-out, then the penalties shall resume with the same score and at the same penalty kick number.

PRIZES

For the Kenyan eLigue 1 Qualifiers, the following prizes shall be offered:

  • 1st: Sh. 5000

  • 2nd: Sh 3000

  • 3rd: Sh 2 000

PRIZING

  • Payment will be made through MPESA.

 RIGHT OF PUBLICITY AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Index G esports will post the names of confirmed winners online after each the national final in Kenya.

The Competitor grants IndexG Esports the right to use their personal information and other data provided by the Competitor without receiving consent or offering compensation to the Competitor for marketing and promotional purposes.

By accepting to participate, Player grants IndexG Esports the right to use their personal information, and any other information provided by Player, without further consent or compensation to Player, for the administration, marketing, and promotion of IndexG Esports competitions.
